Yes. We currently specialize in just retrievers because we feel the retriever community is unique in the dog world and deserves a niche platform. There are other websites that cover all breeds, or just hunting dogs, etc., ProLitter is the one and only platform that focuses specifically on Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. We believe a niche platform for retrievers will help bring the community together and make it easier for enthusiast to find well-bred dogs as well as valuable resources. Plus, we love retrievers!

We’ve had several requests from other breed enthusiast to consider including breeds that are not retrievers per AKC, but perform in the same venues and are “Bird Dogs” as well. Some of these breeds are Spaniels, Setters, and German Shorthaired Pointers, to name a few. While we do not offer them currently, it’s possible we may add some of these breeds in the future, but ProLitter.com will never become an all-breed platform.
