Pickles blends American grit with English intelligence. He has the drive in the field to flush and retrieve upland birds, the patience to sit in the blind while we are waterfowl hunting and the off switch to sleep in his bed in the the house when we are not in the field. His gun dog career has ranged from puddle ducks in small creeks and ponds to divers and sea ducks on big water. He has flushed and retrieved every upland bird on the East Coast.
