Maui is an extremely versatile, do everything dog. He has an amazing temperament, enabling him to be a great working service dog. He is all the things the standards calls for: “friendly, reliable, trustworthy.” Since sixteen months of age, Maui has been reliably alerting to his owner’s cardiac condition, keeping her safe from injury and giving time to sit prior to huge spikes. He is confident in his work and able to stay on task in extremelynoverstimulating environments daily. Maui makes the perfect puppy sitter, being both gentle and playful with them. While he is normally a calm boy, his drive for small game and birds truly shows through his excellence in CAT and his eagerness to learn about hunt tests, with the hope of titling next spring.

Along with his exceptional temperament, he also embodies the structure of a well constructed golden. He has a strong topline that shows off his appropriate, wavy coat texture nicely. Maui has a nice front, with appropriate, well laid back shoulders. While at the CCA, he received many promising statements about his structure, including how promising his front was for the future of the breed. Maui is 75 pounds and stands at 24.5”.

Maui is located in northeastern PA. He’s is at stud to approved bitches for both live and fresh chilled. He recently had a semen analysis done which is available upon request.
