Dedicated to preserving the hunting instincts of retrievers

Since 1997, the Copper State Hunting Retriever Club (CSHRC) has been actively working to preserve the hunting instincts of retrievers in Arizona. We organize and participate in a variety of events and activities that enhance, and educate people about, our sport. Many of these events are for preparing our dogs for hunt tests and field hunting, as many of our dogs participate in events across the country. However, we also have members who neither hunt with nor test their dogs; they come out for the opportunity to work with their dogs in a simulated hunt/test atmosphere.

We are affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC), the North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA) and the Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) and sponsor annual sanctioned hunt tests with our affiliates. You also might see us demonstrating our sport at an exposition where we educate the public about the skills of a hunting retriever. These events are becoming extremely popular and are solid examples of how our club has a great time advancing the sport in our area.

See something, say something, that goes against our standards.
